Summary

Taking advantage of her gullible nature and the trust she has in him as her former teacher, Fujisawa tells Nao that he has figured out the true goal of the Liar Game. He says that while the players are suspicious of each other, the LGT office sends a thief to steal their money, knowing that each player will assume their opponent was the culprit. This way, at the end of the time limit the LGT office can claim to both players that they lost and throw them into debt.

Fujisawa then says that the LGT office's mistake was pairing up the two of them, who are former acquaintances and would be able to work together. He proposes that they put their money into separate safety deposit boxes to keep it safe from the LGT office until the 30 days are up. Since Nao has never opened a safety deposit account before, he offers to take her money and put it into one himself, thus making out with the entirety of her 100 million yen.
