Context
Nao Kanzaki receives a package containing 100 million yen and a note saying that she has been selected to participate in the Liar Game Tournament. In the first round, players are assigned an opponent, and the winner will be the one who manages to steal the most money from the other after 30 days. The winner will get to keep the stolen money, while the loser will be placed in debt. Her opponent turns out to be Kazuo Fujisawa, who happens to be her former teacher.

With Akiyama's help, Nao wins the first round and takes the entirety of Fujisawa's 100 million yen. However, taking pity on her former teacher and wishing that he will go back to being the kind man she once knew him as, she gives him back her winnings so he can leave the Liar Game debt free.
